The register may also contain additional individualized data provided by the customer. Such data processing shall be notified separately to the data subject.

7. Regular Data Disclosures

Customer data may be disclosed solely to partners whose services are required to fulfill the customer’s order or as agreed with the customer. Such partners may include, but are not limited to, parishes, crematoria, transportation providers, memorial service vendors, law firms handling estate inventories, and headstone suppliers.

Funeral Service Kaiho shall only transmit personal data necessary for service provision, such as name and phone number. Ownership of the data remains with the data controller, and third parties are not permitted to use the data beyond the scope of the specific assignment.

No data shall be transferred or disclosed outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

8. Principles of Register Protection

The register is stored in secure information systems and protected against unauthorized access.

Only designated personnel responsible for the customer register at Funeral Home Kaiho shall have access to the data.

9. Right of Access and Rectification

Data subjects have the right to access personal data stored about them in the customer register. They also have the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data. Correction requests must specify the erroneous data and provide the corrected information.

Requests for access or rectification must be submitted in writing and signed, addressed to the contact person listed in Section 2 of this document.
